I just received my blanket from !!! Yes, that's right, the one who's drawn such spectacular pieces as these:
Wow! Much happy. So excite!
By some bizarre miracle, I won his Christmas blanket giveaway from last November, but I didn’t notice I’d won until a few weeks ago when I was stalking his tumblr. ^_^;;
Choosing a blanket was no easy matter, lemme tell ya. Like 90% of them appealed to me since I’ve watched Black Butler and I’ve played several Final Fantasy games, but I had to go with my first love, FF7. (Btw, check out my Final Fantasy art folder meowchee.deviantart.com/galler… ). It was down to Sephiroth vs. Reno+Rude, but the latter won because I wanted a friendlier-seeming blankie and because Reno =
The blanket is cuddly and nicely printed. I wasn’t sure what type of blanket it was going to be, but it appears to be more of a throw blanket, like the kind you throw over yourself when you’re watching TV on the couch or when you’re cold and you can’t be bothered putting on a jacket and want to wander around the house shrouded in fleece. It’s also fine for sleeping under during a warm summer night. I’m going to leave mine in the guest bedroom for my guests to enjoy because I’m an awesome host like that
And now I’m going to talk about the amazing artist behind the jaw-dropping artwork, since I’m hoping that will encourage you to buy his merchandise. Koji, who I’ve been watching for about four years, is probably my most favorite digital artist ever, not merely because he’s super hilarious or because he’s incredibly skilled at what he does (although those two attributes do help a lot ), but also because he’s remarkably humble and conscientious and down-to-earth and he loves his adorable puppy in the same way I love my fish Googly. Usually when artists get to his level of expertise, they tend to become more aloof and hardly have time to respond to comments, but Koji still has time for his peeps and for that I greatly admire him.
You guys know how hard it is to survive as an artist, so please help a fellow deviant out and buy his stuff. I guarantee you it will bring you feelings of joy when you gaze fondly at the thing you bought.

Looking for Plushie Artists
Hi everyone! :wave:
I was wondering on behalf of my friend HinataFox790 (https://www.deviantart.com/hinatafox790) if there are any Human Plush artists that she hasn't commissioned yet and who are interested in being commissioned.
She's not looking for any amigurumi, crocheted, knitted, or needle-felted plushies.
If interested, please reply to this post or send her a note. Thanks so much! :D
How to save DA?
I don't have any answers on how to save DA, but it's hard not to notice how much of a ghost town DA has become compared to how it was a few years ago. I feel that its peak was around 2009-2013, but maybe it's just because that's when I was most active here that it seemed more active in general. I wish it could be like that again, but DA has lost a lot of its users to other websites and I don't know if there's any way of making them come back.
What do you think would help make this place bustling again? If they reverted it back to the way it was in 2010-ish, would that help? Or do you find the recent changes they made were actually helpful?
As the world falls down...
A few days ago, when I learned that one of my favorite people in the world had passed away, it almost seemed as though the world had fallen down...
It happened when I was in the living room working on an Etsy order. My husband was in our study when he made a distressed wail. I thought he was just watching a wrestling match or something at the time and an upset had occurred. He began wailing some more and I wasn't sure what it was about. I eventually began to realize that something was wrong, especially when he walked to the living room with a sad look on his face. I looked up at him and cried, "Tell me David Bowie is still alive!" as David n
